This all started because of a cup of tea.

Ben had dreams of opening a music café for years, but as a coffee lover, he never really thought about serving tea. Then Srish moved here from New Delhi and introduced him to the real thing: authentic chai made with her mum’s recipe.

We realized pretty quickly that this was the missing piece: a place that does great music and proper, homemade chai.

We are starting from scratch and learning as we go. We care a lot about using real, wholesome ingredients. We are even growing our own ginger and lemongrass in our family polytunnel down the road.

We have big plans for the future, too. With Srish’s background in psychology, we want to eventually use the space for music therapy and mental wellbeing.

But for now, we just want to serve you a really good cup of tea and play some great records.
